HOW ARE CHIEF BARS DIFFERENT?

Chief Bars are made from 100% animal-based, whole protein. Other protein bars typically use either soy or whey protein isolates. These highly processed ingredients undergo toxic chemical treatments to create a protein source that is difficult for your body to recognise. Additionally, other bars have to rely on sugar and/or sweeteners to balance the flavour of protein powders. This results in unavoidably and often unfavourably high levels of sugar/carbohydrate that is seen in nearly every other protein bar on the market. Chief Bars are minimally processed and contains all essential amino acids. They’re also much easier for your body to digest, which results in superior protein utilisation.

WHAT DO CHIEF BARS TASTE LIKE?

Seriously… they’re amazing! Here’s a review from the team at Sportsluxe:

What did you expect it to taste like?

Salty beef jerky that you buy at petrol stations.

What did it actually taste like?
Seriously, like a lamb roast that I would cook for dinner, except room temperature rather than straight out of the oven hot.
Did you have any reservations?
(Laughing) I was a little afraid I would spit it out.
What did you like most about it?
That it actually tasted like dinner.
Who do you think these would appeal to?
Definitely meat-loving men because it does have a very meaty masculine taste. I think it would be great for people who are really into their exercise and weight loss and are looking to cut down their carb intake.
Would you eat one again?
Yes I’d like to keep it in my bag as a go to protein snack. I’d really recommend it as a mid-afternoon snack when sugar cravings start to creep in.
WHERE DOES THE MEAT COME FROM?

All our meat is 100% grass-fed. We use Hunter Valley Meats’ “Signature Edition” YG, MSA HGP Free Certified Grass-Fed beef. It’s Angus & Hereford, predominantly sourced from NSW. The MLA considers this to be in the top 2% of Australian grass-fed beef. Our lambs are predominantly sourced from the Swan Hill and Cowra areas.

ARE CHIEF BARS HEALTHY?

Very! Here’s a review from renown dietician Dr Naras Lapsys, founder of The Body Doctor:

“I love Chief Bars. Every day, more and more studies confirm that processed food and in particular, processed carbohydrates, are just not good for us. Furthermore, we also know that many people are lacking in iron. Chief Bars really tick all the boxes. The meat is grass-fed, which keeps the fat profile extremely favourable to anti-inflammation. Lamb and beef are also the best sources of haem iron, great for energy, great for iron stores. The bars are high in protein, which is one of the most satiating macronutrients, so you feel fuller for longer. Even better, the bars have a kilojoule count that is perfect as a snack. Chief Bars make for a great afternoon snack which will hold off an appetite until the evening and they also have a nutrient profile that would be perfect after a strength workout. They are versatile and can readily be consumed on a daily basis. When you eat a Chief Bar, feel confident that you are eating an extremely healthy and health-promoting snack. Chief Bars are all natural and preservative-free, making them a haven for discerning individuals who are concerned about their intake of chemicals and products that may trigger an intolerance.”
